TOM ECKMANN, CHAIRMAN and CEO
Tom has more than 30 years experience with startup, early-stage and growth companies. His business experience spans multiple career tracks - management consultant, business executive, entrepreneur and author. Tom earned Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the University of California at Berkeley. He is past Board Chairman of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network and currently a part time faculty member at the University of Washington's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
MIKE FULLER, Corporate and Business Development
Mike has more than ten years experience working in government and public relations. His government experience includes all levels from state and local to the federal government. He is most passionate about developing meaningful relationships that benefit organizations and communities. As a civic leader, Mike founded the Pipeline 4 Progress Network, a not-for-profit organization focused on attracting and retaining talent in upstate New York. Mike earned his Bachelor of Science from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
DEB HAGEN, Branding and Marketing
Deb has more than 25 years of experience developing and managing communications programs across a wide variety of industries from packaged consumer goods to industrial products, trade associations to technology. She has worked with leadership teams on the launch of dozens of new companies, including helping guide strategic planning, vision and mission statement development, positioning, messaging and brand development. Previous clients have included Honeywell, The Pellet Fuel Institute, Heatilator and Weyerhaeuser. Deb holds a B.A. from Iowa State University in journalism and mass communications with minors in marketing and political science. Deb is the University of Washington's lecturer on Entrepreneurial Marketing, is a board director for the Northwest Entrepreneurs Network and has been active with the WSA, The Alliance of Angels and the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs.
BILL MALONEY, European Operations
Bill has over 25 years experience in the domestic & industrial heating and plumbing industry. Following extensive and continued training in the Pan European energy sector, he became involved in the design, implementation and management of high efficient and cost cutting "green" projects. Over a ten-year period these projects were in both large scale multinational companies to small scale domestic with short to medium term payback periods. Bill founded Choice Heating Solutions (CHS) in 2003 where he liaised with various European companies and formed partnerships with leading sustainable energy producers. With the involvement of these partnership CHS was able to source and design environmentally friendly systems of the highest efficiency, keeping in mind reliability, suitability and cost for the customers. CHS has become one of the leading suppliers and installers with a product range from wood gasification & pellet boilers, solar panels, micro wind/hydro generation & rainwater harvesting.
MARK WILBER, Reseller Channel Sales
Mark has more than 25 years experience as an entrepreneur, much of that time in the alternative energy field. He founded ThisWarmHouse in 2004 to sell indoor and outdoor wood and biomass boilers for homes and businesses. ThisWarmHouse sold over 1000 units in four years via direct sales to consumers in eleven states and through a network of more than a dozen independent resellers in Pennsylvania and upstate New York. He has developed a keen understanding of alternative energy market channels and the voice of the customer. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Agriculture at Penn State University, with focused study in crop science and business management.
